In addition to the integrity of the nervous system, other components of a person’s health are always discussed and looked at during each office visit. Proper nutrition, rest, and exercise, along with stress level are intrinsically connected to the health of the nervous system and vice versa. For example: if you don’t have the proper nutrients to maintain healthy nerve tissue, the messages to and from the stomach organ will be compromised. This can lead to digestion problems. Conversely, if the nerve flow is blocked or impeded from a misalignment in the spine, the healthiest of foods, while perhaps being taken in, can not be fully utilized.

Dr. Cosselman:

Dr. Cosselman, a Schenectady native, graduated with her degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia in December 1999. She returned to upstate New York in September 2000 and joined a group practice. In March of 2003 Dr. Cosselman opened her own practice: OPTIMUM HEALTH CHIROPRACTIC. She has received training from several well know NUCCA practitioners; Dr. Russell Friedman of Atlanta, Georgia and Dr. Irene Adamczuk of Rochester,
New York.

Dr. Cosselman actively works towards her vision of a healthier community including educating people of the community. She educates people about the human body and the importance of a healthy nervous system. In addition to educating, Dr. Cosselman corrects patient's spinal misalignments using the NUCCA system of care. This allows their nervous system to function optimally.

While Dr. Cosselman attends conferences and seminars to further her knowledge of the human body, NUCCA, and health, she can also be seen out in the community, often volunteering her time to teach and educate. She is committed to the health of the people in her community and precise quality NUCCA care.
